How to Set Up Your Google Review Link

  1. Find your Google review link by searching for your business on Google and selecting “Write a review.” Copy the URL.
  2. Send your Google review link to support@smartcare.io, and we will insert it for you.


Turning Follow-Ups On or Off

Google review follow-ups are managed per appointment type.
  1. Go to Settings in Smartcare.
  2. Select Appointments and find the appointment type you want to edit.
  3. Click on the three dots next to the appointment type.
  4. Scroll to the bottom and find Automated Follow-Ups. Toggle it on or off as needed.
🚀  Recommendation: We suggest turning on follow-ups for first-time appointments and disabling them for follow-ups or routine visits to start.


Why More Reviews Matter

  • A high volume of reviews is more valuable than having only 5-star ratings.
  • Google prioritizes businesses with frequent, authentic reviews—even if some aren’t perfect.

Limitations to Keep in Mind

  • ❌ We do not currently track which reviews came from automated messages versus direct messages.
  • ❌ There are no automated reminders for organizations to respond to reviews at this time.
  • ❌ This feature is ONLY for Google reviews (no other feedback platforms are supported).
